Now imagine you're looking out thru glass terrace doors onto an enormous wooden decking area, set up 2 meters above ground, with a view of mountains, trees and fields. We had a particularly clear picture, not most of the building itself, but of the sensation that we wanted folk to get when they walked into the place. We wanted them to be confounded at the 1st impression they receive, happy by the marginally eccentric design of the Lounge Area, and shocked by the view. Naturally, plenty of the surprising depends on the weather, as you cant ever be certain if the Galtee Mountains which fringe the view, are basically going to be there or not. They can be wrapped in mist, topped by a cap of the whitest snow, they can be all colors from black to green, from orange to purple, dependent on the light. Briefly they can be an entertainment in themselves, and one which we never become bored with. We find we are checking on them, when making beds, or dressing the youngsters or tidying up. We call our children and one another attention to them when they are definitely a strange hue of some un-named color. And occasionally, as I have asserted, they don't seem to be there . In reality we have had mates to remain numerous times, who've never really seen them. But on the whole, they're there, and the view is, as Ive declared, shocking. Back in the accommodation, it is warm and cosy, outstandingly clean, and snug without being snobbish. There are many bars, bistros and bars found near to this cottage. Fascinating to some, but with a little bit of history for us, as they have all formerly been selected and enjoyed by us, and then was meticulously placed on the wall of the house. The bike trail itself is brilliant for walking in, and the perspectives are wonderful, particularly in the autumn, where you have layer on layer of trees all changing colors at the very same time.
